Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 6 "The Lost Mission" Hit Netflix Streams With a Buzz

Star Wars:The Clone Wars 2008 (1-1)
After Star Wars: The Clone Wars was canceled after its fifth and final season on Cartoon Network back in March of 2013, many questioned the fate of the remaining season six. The fantastic animated show started in 2008 and continued on air until 2013.

I myself was disappointed in the cancellation of the long running and entertaining show that had suddenly end as it did. When the show started back in 2008 with a feature film kicking off the show, I couldn't help but wonder if that was the same way that they were going to end it. (1-1)

I was happy to hear that Netflix was going to pick it up and stream the last season of the Clone Wars, it's previous five seasons and the film. The streaming will begin on March 7, 2014 in the US for lovers of the show.

Here is a brief Clone Wars season six summery:
~ The first few episodes of the season take us through the order 66 conspiracy and how the clones are not what they seem to be. (1-2)

~ Then we visit the relationship between Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala and a old friend, Rush Clovis. If this small story arc is seen some what out of place thats because it is, this was set to have appeared in the fifth season not the six. In these emotional episodes Anakin shows much of his difficulties dealing with his secret marriage with Padme.

~ The next two episodes spend some time with the highly loved Jar Jar Binks and Mace Windu kickin' butt. Weather you like Jar Jar Binks or not these episodes are very entertaining and enjoyable to watch. It's at this point that they choose to give Mace Windu his own story arc in the finishing episodes.

~ The last few episodes focus on the Force and it's understanding. We revisit the name of the mysterious Jedi Sifo-Dyas that was brought up in Attack of the Clones. And we get a greater understanding of how Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and later Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader at the end of Return of the Jedi. Yoda takes us with him to the Sith planet and underline the more tragic parts of the Star Wars Saga.

Three key non resolutions:
~ The first thing is Ahsoka Tano left the Jedi order at the end of Season five never to be seen again. She was not included in the last season and has not been said if there will be anything to continue that characters store.
~ The second thing is Darth Mal and  his storyline just stop, lucky they will be producing a comic book.

~ And the last thing is regarding Captain Rex, what happens with him before Revenge of the Sith. We see him at Skywalkers side nonstop in the Clone Wars, but there is no mention of him in the third prequel movie. I really wonder what they will do with that, if anything it would be cool to have Rex go solo or run into Ahsoka Tano, refuse the Empire and defend the laws of the Republic. Just a cool thought

"The Lost Missions" is set at only thirteen episodes compared to the twenty to twenty-three episode seasons in the previous five seasons. Although that may seem short in comparison but in true thirteen episodes in a season is the norm.

Dave Filoni (1-3), Supervising Director of Star Wars: The Clone Wars jumped to Starwars.com to thank all fans and views for their years of loyalty and love of the show. He hopes that they will all have the same love and support for the new show Rebels currently in production.

With the clean up of this great animated show, the start of the new Star Wars: Rebels later in the year and Episode 7 set for December 2015 release, Disney is well on its way of creating a set of new content under their brand name. Lets all hold on and enjoy the ride together through the Star Wars Universe.
