Tanking in the NBA

Over the last six months many teams in the NBA have been seen what they call "loosing on purpose" to attain higher draft picks and younger talent. Earlier today (March 12, 2014) the new Commissioner of the NBA, Adam Silver says he doesn't see "Tanking" going on in the league.

He believes that players and coaches are trying to win not loose. Instead, they are doing what the league has shown them to do when they need to get better, build through the draft. With this draft class being the strongest in recent history many teams are looking to get the highest pick possible. He also said that that if this was a problem, then that was going to have to be something that needs to be fixed.
